报告内容摘要：
    Health Informatics (HI) is the rapidly evolving interdisciplinary field that deals with the p-Health applications, processing, storage, transmission, acquisition, retrieval (p-STAR) of information, data, and knowledge for preventive medicine, especially for the early prediction and treatment of major diseases such as cardiovascular diseases. The health informatics is closely tied to modern information technologies comprising all the basic and applied aspects of it, notably in the areas of electronics, computing and communication. It becomes increasingly essential for the deployment of personalized medicine and p-health, the development of modern biopharmaceuticals, and the efficient and effective management of health care.  This talk will focus on the cardiovascular health informatics and discuss the information p-STAR for the early identification, objective evaluation and real-time monitoring of vulnerable patients with heart diseases. A proposal of the Myocardial Infarction and Stroke Screening and Intervention among Nations (MISSIoN2020) using the biomedical imaging and wearable sensing will be also discussed at the end of presentation.
