报告内容摘要:
As one of the living things on the earth, person should keep balance with external environment and hold homeostasis (physiological equilibrium) in molecular, cellular, tissue, organic, systemic and body’s levels, to keep health state. If external or internal environment changes overwhelm physiologically regulative ability, disease, pre-disease or sub-health will happen in homeostatic imbalance state (dyshomeostasis). Timely global detections of the states and responses as well as the environments are very important to prevent and treat diseases earlier especially to complex diseases by personal medicine. On the other hand, Today's healthcare and life sciences industries face unprecedented problems on reducing investigative, clinical and administrative costs in an explosion of data. Easier, safer and faster drug discovery is emerging challenge.
How to focus on target earlier and keep your work at the cutting edge? How to discover and correct the error of traditional theory that even had been written in textbook from long, long ago? How to find high effect and low toxicity drug candidate from mechanism analysis and build new theory simultaneously? Is it possible that side effects change to effects and seeming completely different diseases share with same network? How to protect yourself from PM2.5? Have you seen opposite responses to same stimulation in single molecule? Whether one drop of blood or urine even gas can check your health stage and diagnose disorder pathway and biomarker? Most of time working abroad for long years, successively served as Principal Investigator, Scientist, Fellow, Invited Specialist, Co-investigator, Guest Professor, Director and etc. for Free University, Amsterdam University, University of California, Tottori University, Global Science Institute, GSCP, Institute for Molecular Science, NINS, Japan Society for the Promoting of Science, JSPS, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Peking Union Medical College, Harvard University, and world famous companies, Hong LUO (MD/PhD) will expound the shortcut to discovery, analyze the mechanism and present the picture of future medicine for you. The topics range from biomedicine to environmental science such as: omics, mass spectrometry, ion channel, image analysis, bio-signal network analysis, chemical biology, bioinformatics, molecular dynamics, drug design and molecular simulation in silicon. The examples involve co-pathways and biomarkers in aging, metabolic syndrome, infection, inflammation, regeneration, environmental disease, allergy, cancer and CNS degeneration as well as effective bioactivity substances, in which parts could be targets or leads (drug candidates) for preventing, diagnosing and treating the diseases personally, or holding homeostasis in various levels and keeping balances with nature, and parts have been used in drug and health products around world.
