报告内容摘要:
Boundary perturbations in flow past a bluff body can be classified as active perturbations (blowing and suction) and passive perturbations (wall roughness). These perturbations are assumed to be small in magnitude and therefore can be modeled as Dirichlet-type boundary conditions of the linearized NS equation. The sensitivities of both unsteadiness (energy fluctuation) and forces acting on the bluff body to boundary perturbations are analytically demonstrated to be highly correlated, indicating that controlling unsteadiness is almost equivalent with controlling the forces. The flow around a circular cylinder is adopted to present this theoretical prediction. The sensitivity of turbulences to wall roughness will be also discussed.
