从3D打印到生物3D打印 – 挑战与机遇 From 3DP to Bio-3DP - Challenges and Opportunities

报告内容摘要


3D Bio-Printing uses cells, biologics and/or biomaterials as building block to fabricate personalized 3D structures or functional in vitro biological models for regenerative medicine, disease study and drug discovery. This presentation will report recent advances on 3D Bioprinting.  An overview of 3D Printing to Bio-3D Printing will be given according to its technological development and application stages. Engineering printing process will be described. Examples of applying 3D Printing techniques to develop tissue engineering model, drug metabolism model and disease model will be given, along with the discussion for opportunities in the field of Bio-3D Printing.

Dr. Wei Sun is currently appointed as National “Thousand-Talent” Distinguished Professor and Director of Biomanufacturing Research Center at Tsinghua University, China, and Albert Soffa Chair Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Drexel University, USA. His research has been on Biofabrication, 3D Bio-Printing, Computer-Aided Tissue Engineering, and Additive Manufacturing. His research has been sponsored by National Science Foundation (NSF), Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA),National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Chinese Natural Science Foundation (CNSF) and Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology. He has published over 350 journal and conference papers/abstracts and conducted over 220 national and international invited presentations in the field of his research.
 
孙伟博士,清华大学机械工程系教授,清华大学生物制造中心主任,美国德雷塞尔大学(Drexel University)机械工程与力学系 Albert Soffa 讲席教授(Chair Professor)。 研究领域包括生物3D打印,生物制造,计算机辅助组织工程,CAD/CAM 及增材制造等。孙伟博士担任国际生物制造学会首任主席,生物制造(Biofabrication)国际期刊总编, Science Nature等47个国际期刊的评审专家。美国科学基金会(NSF)、美国国家卫生院(NIH)、中国自然科学基金会(NSFC)、欧盟政府研究基金会、香港政府研究基金会、加拿大科学与工程研究委员会、新加坡科学与工程研究委员会等机构项目评审专家。美国国防部、商务部、国家科学基金会生物制造战略规划咨询专家、美国机械工程学会制造委员会生物制造技术委员会首任主席、中国工程院生物医药十三五规划专家组专家、工程院生物材料十三五规划专家组专家。先后主持承担国家科技部863科研项目、国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家重大新药研发专项、美国国家科学基金会重点项目、美国国防部、美国国家宇航局等科研项目等。共发表期刊论文、国际会议论文及摘要350篇以上,被邀请主旨报告、专题报告等220余次。
