报告内容简介:
Network systems is a fascinating research field that is evolving rapidly across many domains. The goal in networked control of multi-agent systems is to derive desirable collective behavior through distributed control algorithms based on local interaction with neighboring agents.
In this talk, I will outline my research on distributed control and optimization for network systems with applications in power systems. In the first part of this talk, I will present a novel distributed algorithm for coordinating distributed energy resources (DERs) over directed switching communication networks with time-varying delays. In the second part of this talk, I will show a distributed algorithm for discovering the system overload for networks with arbitrarily large time delays in load shedding application. The third part of this talk will focus on synchronization of network systems while the forth part will focus on dynamical behaviors of network systems. The talk will conclude with discussion of future opportunities for network systems with applications in power systems and transportation systems.
