报告简介:


It is of fundamental and broad interest to probe the function and the structure of complex systems in physics and biology. Here, starting from an introduction of typical complex systems, three different approaches are discussed based on my personal research experience. The first is an analytic method with deep physics insight- the renormalization group, the second is a rigorous theory of chaotic dynamical systems-the periodic orbit theory and the third may be used for extracting dynamical modes from time series or identification of key patterns emerging from interacting agents.
