Estimation, learning and control for robots in free space motion and during contact force interaction

内容简介:
The introduction of so-called "collaborative robots", robots safe enough to be able to share workspace with human operators also during a manufacturing phase, has gained a lot of interest in industry as well as reflected in the research community with new demands on enabling technologies. In addition to the safety aspect, the concept also heavily relies on lowering the robot programming threshold through e.g., lead-through programming, haptic interfaces and task descriptions through teaching-by-demonstration. In the presentation, we will address issues on estimation and learning motion-generation with feedback from workspace sensing and in particular cover the case with contact force interaction.

报告人简介:
Anders Robertsson received the M.Sc. EE. degree and the Ph.D. degree in automatic control from LTH, Lund University, Sweden, in 1992 and 1999, respectively. He was appointed Docent in 2005 and ETP (Excellent Teaching Practitioner) in 2007 and professor in 2012. He is currently professor at the Dept of Automatic Control, LTH, Lund University. His research interests are in nonlinear control systems, robotics, observer-based control, and different control issues in telecommunications and computing systems.
