华盛顿大学生物医学工程系Changhui Li博士在生物医学工程系做学术报告

      11月25日下午,Changhui Li博士在廖凯原楼2-102会议室为生物医学工程系师生做题目为“光声效应在生物医学中的应用”的报告。报告由谢天宇">谢天宇教授主持。

      在过去的十年中, 光声效应在生物医学中的应用赢得的世界范围的关注。在结合了高敏感性的光学吸收特性和超声的分辨率,光声探测是无损伤,无辐射危害的生物医学探测方法,范围包括光声成像和光声检测。不仅如此, 它还提供深度达到几个厘米的功能成像和分子成像。这个技术拥有相对于纯高分辨率光学成像和超声成像所不具备的一些优点。讲座给出光声效应在生物医学中的应用的简介,内容包括基本原理,研究领域和其广泛应用。在场的师生就报告内容进行了热烈的交流。

Changhui Li

Changhui Li received his B.S. degree from Department of Technical Physics and M.S. degree from Department of Physics of Peking University, China, in 1997 and 2000, respectively, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Department of Physics of Texas A&M University at College Station, TX, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. He is currently a postdoc in the Optical Imaging Laboratory under Prof. Lihong Wang in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. His research interests include photoacoustic tomography, thermoacoustic tomography, light scattering by small particles, and radiave transfer in turbid medium.
